Sometimes, finding your destiny means doing the exact opposite of what The Fates have planned.

Winning the heart of an immortal assassin was a dream come true for Kristia Tostenson. Now she's knee deep in wedding plans, goddess lessons, and stolen kisses. But her decision to become immortal could end in heartbreak -- not only for Kristia, but for the god who loves her. Because while Ull would do anything to protect his bride, even the God of Winter is powerless against the Norse apocalypse. Ragnarok is coming. And the gods aren't even close to ready.

 About the author:

Before finding domestic bliss in suburbia, ST Bende lived in Manhattan Beach (became overly fond of Peet’s Coffee) and Europe… where she became overly fond of the musical Cats. Her love of Scandinavian culture and a very patient Norwegian teacher inspired the ELSKER series. She hopes her characters make you smile and that one day pastries will be considered a health food.

BLOOD AND SNOW (Volumes 1 - 12) by RaShelle Workman

Available on Amazon

Every thousand years the Vampire Queen selects a new body, always the fairest in the land, and this time she's chosen Snow White.

Snow isn't an ordinary girl. She doesn't know that yet.

When Snow gets bitten by a Hunter, her life is thrown into a whirlwind of change where instead of worrying about what to eat, she has to fight not to drink the blood of fellow high school students. She becomes a revenant - not quite human, not quite vampire.

With the help of an eccentric old Professor, his seven adoptive sons, and her best friend, Snow learns to control her blood craving. Sort of.  She drinks a bloodlust tea, but she'd rather drink from her Hunter.

Or, a human.

She also discovers a whole other realm, one filled with fairies, dragons, and magic. And not only does the Vampire Queen want her, but there's a pendant called the Seal of Gabriel created for Snow by the Vampire Queen's twin sister. And Snow's supposed to use it to restore balance to all magical creatures. Including vampires.

RaShelle Workman is the bestselling author of the Dead Roses series ("Sleeping Roses" is being translated into Turkish, and will be available in print wherever Turkish books are sold in 2014), the Immortal Essence series, and the Blood and Snow series.

She's sold over two hundred thousand copies of her novels worldwide in the past year, including Japan, Canada, and Europe. You can find RaShelle all over the web, but the best place to start is on her blog: www.rashelleworkman.com.

ELSKER Release Day + Giveaways!

I'm so happy to be a part of Waffle Fest 2013 brought to you by S.T. Bende and her fab New Adult Romance ELSKER

Take it away S.T. Bende . . .

. . .

Oh my gosh, Jacqueline. I can’t believe Elsker is finally here! I’m jumping up and down and flinging confetti all over the place today. And I wouldn’t be flinging and jumping without you.

For those who don’t know, I’m the luckiest writer in the world -- Jacqueline Gardner is my critique partner. She’s fantastically supportive, incredibly astute, and exceptionally articulate. She’ll tell you what’s wrong with your manuscript without ever making you feel bad, and she’ll keep you motivated on your most rejection-filled days. Jacqueline, we both know Elsker would never have left my computer without your encouragement. And I am eternally grateful.

Since JG and I love baking almost as much as writing, let’s introduce the Elsker cast and have a little Cupcake Party!

The story
Elsker follows twenty-year old Kristia Tostenson as she leaves her one stoplight town of Nehalem, Oregon, to find adventure at Cardiff University, in Wales. Kristia gets a lot more than she bargained for when she falls in love with Ull Myhr. He’s not just a graduate student -- he’s an Asgardian Assassin, and the Norse God of Winter. Kristia’s orderly life is about to get seriously complicated.

The crew:
Ull - The God of Winter is Thor’s stepson, an Asgardian Assassin, and a 6’5” Nordic Adonis. He’s seen a lot over the centuries. And though he’s always wanted a family of his own, the idea of falling in love absolutely terrifies him.
Ull’s Cupcake -- If Ull were a cupcake he’d be a Flourless Chocolate with Ganache. Strong, rich, and undeniably sweet. I’ll take two!

Kristia - The small town girl who has no idea just how huge the universe really is, Kristia loves art, her friends, and rules. She’s read Emily Post cover to cover, and she holds on tight to her orderly ways.
Kristia’s Cupcake -- If Kristia were a cupcake she’d be a Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting. Perfectly traditional, a staple in the manners-minded-South, but with just a little kick. Because still waters run deep, and there’s more to Kristia than meets the eye.

Inga -- One of Ull’s best friends, this Domestic Goddess is the Fight Choreographer for Odin’s Army. She’s head over heels for her handsome hubby Gunnar, and she’d do absolutely anything to protect her best friend.
Inga’s Cupcake -- If Inga were a cupcake she’d be a Lemon Burst. Equal parts sunshine and tartness, she’ll knock you out if you’re not ready for her.

Olaug -- Ull’s grandma, she’s warm, kind, and more than a little bit sassy. She loves her grandson and his friends, and happily bakes their favorite Norsk waffles. She’ll give you her recipe, too!** Just don’t tell her if you serve them with Nutella instead of a tart jam -- she’s a stickler for tradition.
Olaug’s Cupcake -- If Olaug were a cupcake, she’d be a Vanilla with Chocolate Frosting. Simple, classic, no frills, but practically perfect in every way.

**Seriously, Olaug gives out her waffle recipe at the end of Elsker. Get ready to buy some bigger pants.

Now tell me in the comments -- what about you? If you were a cupcake, what flavor would you be?

No Strings Attached Giveaway Hop

Presenting the No Strings Attached Giveaway Hop! Brought to you by Kathy at I Am A Reader, Not A Writer. Everyone's a winner here. Enter the giveaway below for a chance to win a $10 Amazon gift card . . .

AND

Make sure you download a FREE copy of TUR by the awesome S.T. Bende! This is the prequel to her ELSKER saga about a small town girl that flies overseas to go to Cardiff University. Her ordinary life takes an extraordinary turn when she catches the eye of the hottest guy on campus . . . the Norse God of Winter.

Inga Andersson is the envy of every girl in Asgard. She’s a fight choreographer for Odin’s army, she’s in love with one of Asgard’s top assassins, and her best friend is Ull, the uber-reserved and ridiculously good-looking God of Winter. But being a goddess is anything but easy. Inga would rather use her sword to fight than to teach, and Ull’s been perfectly exasperating since he found out he’s fated to love a human. Now Asgard is under attack from Dark Elves, the Norse apocalypse is a nanosecond away, and Inga’s about to be kidnapped by a giant. Again. There might never be a better time for a vacation, but where can a trio of Norse gods go to get away?

TA DAH!

Here it is.  The second book in the Creepy Hollows series by Rachel Morgan.

coming May 30th 2013

Guardian trainee Violet Fairdale is just weeks away from one of the most important occasions of her life: graduation. After messing up big time by bringing a human into the fae realm, Vi needs to step up her game and forget about Nate if she hopes to graduate as the top guardian of her year. Everything would be fine if she wasn’t forced to partner with Ryn, her ex-friend, ex-enemy, current ‘sort of friend’. They might be trying to patch up their relationship, but does she really want to spend a week undercover with him for their final assignment? On top of that, the possibly-insane Unseelie Prince is still on the loose, free to ‘collect’ as many specially talented faeries as he can find—and Vi is still at the top of his list. Add in faerie queens, enchanted storms, complicated not-just-friends feelings, and a murder within the Guild itself, and graduation is about to become the least of Vi’s problems.

And if you haven't read the first book, check it out . . .
